Program Mission

To produce competent Automotive Service Technicians with knowledge and skills to repair mechanical or electrical parts of light and heavy-duty automotive vehicles in response to 21st-century challenges.

Program Goal

To produce  skillful graduates of Automotive Servicing NC II  by providing learners with balanced training, combining theory and practical experience in the specific skills involved in inspecting, cleaning, and repairing mechanical or electrical parts of light and heavy-duty automotive vehicles.

Program Objectives:

  1. To graduate 95% of the enrolled learners Automotive Servicing NC II.
  2. To assess 100% of the learners graduated in  Automotive Servicing NC II.
  3. To go beyond the national baseline of 84% by four (4) percent higher in the certification rate of graduates.
  4. To ensure 65% employment of previous and current graduates of Automotive Servicing  NC II
  5. To maintain at least two(2) active partner companies/institutions for Supervised Industry Learning (SIL), and entrepreneurial and job placement assistance.
  6. To conduct at least two (2) community outreach activities.

Automotive Servicing NC II

The AUTOMOTIVE SERVICING NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to inspect, clean and repair mechanical or electrical parts, components, assemblies and sub-assemblies of light and heavy-duty automotive vehicle with diesel or gas engine in accordance with manufacturer’s specification. It also covers servicing of engine mechanical components such as cooling and lubricating system; performing power train and under chassis servicing and repair.
