July 19, 2023 – In connection with the 28th Police Community Relations Month Celebration with the theme “Serbisyong Nagkakaisa para sa Ligtas at Maunlad na Pamayanan”, Guimbal Municipal Police Station in partnership with Guimbal LGU under the administration of Guimbal Municipal Mayor, Hon. Janette Garin-Colada, and together with the Iloilo Police Provincial Office, conducted Livelihood Training Program in Bread Making held at Nanga Integrated School Covered Gym, in coordination with TESDA-Leon Ganzon Polytechnic College.
The livelihood program were participated by 26 passionate Guimbalanons who were eagerly trained in Bread Making. The program aimed to empower and improve the lives of the trainees by giving them the knowledge and skills particularly in making Siopao, Puto Cheese and Doughnuts.
The newly acquired skills will bring them sustainability in terms of livelihood and aid to advance their economic growth and health while being a good and productive citizens of their town and of our country.
On the latter, Esther B. Babalo, Ed.D., TESDA Iloilo Provincial Director, together with Ma. Ofelia L. de la Cruz, Supervising TESD Specialist and party visited the venue and congratulated everyone for a job well done.
